ABOUT US

The story behind Mokum Vintage
Mokum Vintage started with sneakers. As a teenager with size 13, finding anything I liked in the right size was almost impossible. Whenever I came across rare pairs for a good price, I’d buy them anyway. At some point the collection got out of hand, so I started selling a few. That turned into buying more, going to sneaker events, buying the stock of a closed sneaker store, and eventually traveling through Europe selling sneakers and later clothing.

How we grew
As more people found us, the collection kept growing too. What started as an overstuffed storage unit turned into a small pop-up in Amsterdam Noord, where people dropped by on Saturdays to hang out, have a drink, and sell pieces from their wardrobes. Now we’re on the Rozengracht in the Jordaan, with a mix of vintage, new and second-hand streetwear. You’ll find everything from Supreme and Stone Island to C.P. Company, Moncler, Patta, Prada and a lot more. The shop is relaxed, the door’s always open, and we try to keep something for every budget.

Good pieces for a fair price: that’s always been the goal.

How we work & why it matters
We buy directly from people, from artists, from influencers, and sometimes we visit homes to pick up entire wardrobes. We never planned to position ourselves as “sustainable,” but the longer we did this, the clearer it became how much great clothing is already out there, often unworn and just sitting in closets. More people care about originality and responsible choices, and we’re glad that Mokum can be a place where those two come together.
